Practicing meditation/mindfulness can help the body and the brain in many ways. The research shows that meditation has been proven to decrease depression, anxiety, and panic attacks, and help with emotion regulation, concentration, focus, and memory. Meditation can also help improve blood pressure, stomach problems, pain management, and overall well-being.

We'll use the metaphor of the lake to help connect with our vast spacious awareness that lies within; an inner stillness, depth and acceptance of an the changing moment to moment experiences of life. This meditation is usually practiced laying down so please bring a blanket or a yoga mat. If laying down isn't an option you may also sit in a chair for the practice.
