Two new patrolmen who assumed their duties with the Ann Arbor Police Department yesterday are unrelated to the famous radio team of Burns and Allen, despite a coincidence of names. Officer Burns, (left) first name is Vance; he's 26 years old, an AAF veteran, and lives at 1580 Maple Rd. Officer Allen's given name is Floyd. He's 29, and plans to move from Ypsilanti to Ann Arbor with his wife and two small sons within a short time.
