Description
Philip and Erin Stead are the celebrated husband and wife author-illustrator duo of the Caldecott Medal-winning book, A Sick Day for Amos McGee, in addition to Bear Has a Story to Tell, Lenny & Lucy, and many more. The Ann Arbor locals' work has been described as "witty", "breathtaking", and "full of whimsy, heart, and delight".
In this exhibit, Philip and Erin Stead provide a peek into the work they do in their studio in Ann Arbor. As you pore over the details of their illustrations, they invite you in to their creative process with a behind-the-scenes look at how they develop their award-winning stories.
Philip and Erin Stead will be appearing at the A2 Community Bookfest at the Downtown Library on Sunday, November 3.
