PAT A BAT: The children of Mr. and Mrs. Jack C. Bush of 2831 Beacon Hill find a bat makes an interesting pet. Taken home three weeks ago by their father from a nook in the West Engineering Building on campus, the bat has been fed raw hamburger, a food recommended by a local authority, and tamed. Although the bat still startles easily, according to Mrs. Bush, it "loves to have the children hold and pet it" and will fly on command (helped by a slight "push"). Pictured above are (left to right) Molly, 6; Chris, 4 1/2, and Tim, 2 1/2. [sic]
