It's a hot summer day and you need to stay cool, but you'd rather be uncovering ancient secrets, right?! Well what if we said you could have it BOTH ways?!?! There are ancient secrets AND air-conditioning, fascinating facts AND artifacts, stairs AND elevators . . . the list goes on . . . at the Kelsey Museum of Archaeology!!

The Kelsey Museum's work and exhibits aim to inspire greater empathy and connection in the world through leadership in archaeology and community engagement. Their mission is to excavate the past, while building community today! IS THERE A BETTER WAY TO SPEND YOUR TIME??

Pro tips:

• Entrance to the museum is free but donations are appreciated.
• The address is on State St, but the main entrance is on Maynard St.
• Stroller and wheelchair accessible!
• Be aware that State St. is closed for construction between S. University and William through July 11. 

Walking Distance
The badge itself is about 500ft of walking in the Museum (less than a quarter mile). 
Add distance depending on your parking/bus situation.

HOURS
Tuesday through Fridays, 10 AM to 4 PM
Saturdays and Sundays, 11 AM to 4 PM.
They are closed on Mondays.

GETTING THERE
Driving? The museum is located in downtown Ann Arbor at 434 S. State St, but the main entrance is on Maynard St! Metered street and lot parking is available nearby (free after 6pm and Sundays). More info: https://lsa.umich.edu/kelsey/visit.html
