County Charm
Even if you've been to this super deluxe and extremely CHARMING park a million times, it never gets old. And if you've never been to County Farm Park, it's time to get going!! This badge will lead you on a short trail walk and end by exploring the perennial garden! There's a bonus code (not required to earn the badge at the playground). Use the Badge Map embedded below to find the locations of each code. County Farm Park includes a playground, trails, a parkour exercise trail, a woods area, rentable pavilions, and perennial gardens. It's also home to a plethora of Project Grow Gardens! Head to the MAIN parking area off of Platt Rd, south of Washtenaw Ave. and Meri Lou Murray Rec Center.
Pro tips:
- This badge route takes you through a mix of sun and shade—bring sunscreen & water!
- Trail paths are mostly gravel, some with uneven ruts and gentle grades.
- Wear suitable footwear, not flip-flops or backless sandals.
- Not suitable for strollers or wheelchairs.
- The playground can't be avoided. If you bring kiddos, be prepared to spend time there at the end! :)
NOTE: The numbered pins on the badge map correspond to the CODES, not trail markers. So pay attention to the clues and trail maps as you go! :D
Walking distance:
Approximately 0.8 miles from the parking lot.
