Description
In this presentation by a docent from the Detroit Institute of Arts, learn about how contemporary artists connect with Anishinaabe ancestors, teachings, communities, values, stories, future generations, and each other. These artists continue to innovate and express Anishinaabe aesthetics and identities—which are rooted in the Great Lakes region—the homelands of Anishinaabe people.
This event is in partnership with the Detroit Institute of Arts.
