Among the 92 delegates and alternate delegates to the state Democratic convention elected in the Washtenaw Democratic convention a week ago, 33 to 37 count Sen. Eugene J. McCarthy of Minnesota as their first choice for President, estimates Dr. Edward C. Pierce, chairman of Citizens for McCarthy here. He also estimates that 30 Washtenaw County delegates and alternates favor the candidacy of Vice President Hubert H. Humphrey, and that 25 favor the candidacy of Sen. Robert F. Kennedy of New York. Each of the 92 delegates and alternates will cast half a vote at the state Democratic convention, June 1 and 2 in Detroit's Cobo Hall, in electing delegates to the party's national convention in Chicago late next August.
