Drug Suspects Mute

Three persows, who pólice say were involved in Washtenaw County's largest drug operation, stood mute yesterday in their Circuit Court arraignments. Mrs. Lucy Luckett, 39, of 701 N. Maple, Frank Jones, 52, and his wife, Margaret, 43, all had innocent pleas entered for them in Circuit Court. They and six other persons were arrested April 1 by a combination of city, county and state pólice officers. Pre-trial hearings for Mrs. Luckett and Mrs. Jones were set for nejrt Friday, Jones' hearing will be May Attorneys for the two woroen have filed motions to have $40,000 bail bonds reduced. George Sallade, representing Mrs. Luckett, said his cliënt has seven minor children to care for, and that the bond is excessive. Robert Luckett, her 18-year-old son, also was arrested in the drug raid. The motion filed for reduction I of Mrs. Jones' bail clams she has two minor children. Hearings on the motions were set for next week.
