Drug Leaders Picked
The Community Mentaf Healïhfcenter has named two men to coordínate the comprehensive drug planning program being developed for Washtenaw County. The new coördinator is Philip C. Hassen, and the associate coördinator is Matthew Lampe. Hassen comes to the new job after working for seven years developing community drug programs for the Wayne County Health Department. He received a BS degree at Wayne State University, and is currently doing post-graduate work in psychology at Eastern Michigan University. Associate Coördinator Lampe is founder of Ann Arbor's Drug Help Inc. and the Free People's Clinic. He served as medical-drug coördinator for the Community Parks Program this summer and is vice chairman of the Narcotics and Drug Education Advisory Council for the state Board of Education. Lampe I is a member of the Model Cities Policy Board and director of the Community Center Project. He is presently completing undergraduate work at the ty, and is author of the book "Drugs: Information for Crisis Treatment."
