The special COT program, which is a work-study program for 9th, lOth and llth graders who are economically or academically disadvantaged and are potential dropouts, was criticized by Miss Current for taking a negative view of the students and continuing to place them in the status of the lower working class instead of educating them. o o Four resignations and six leave of absences were approved by the board including the resignation of Evelyn Moore, coördinator of the pre-1 school program from 1966-69.
