Board Appoints Class Principal At Huron High
RogerL. Pulliam Was appointed class principal at Huron High School by the Ann Arbor Board of Education last night. He will receive an annual salary of $18,500 for the position. Pulliam has spent most of his professional career at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo. From 1968 to 1971 he was assistant to WMU's vice president for academie affairs, working with the school's Martin Luther King Program in 1968 and "Project '73" in 1969. Earlier, he was a counselor in the Ofj fice of Student Financial Aid and worked in a pilot program for disadvantaged youth. Pulliam also taught for a brief period in the Battle Creek Public Schools. He was a recipiënt of a 1971 Outstanding Young Men in America award and is i a member of the Michigan Association I for Minority Student Affairs. He is marripri anri the father of one child.
