Dr. W. ♦Allen Spivfcy, professor of statistics at the University School of Business Adminisxation, was appointed to an unexpired three-year term in the Citizen's Advisory Commit,ee for School Finance last night. o o Three additions to the schools' teaching staff and one resigna:ion were approved last night by the trustees. Mrs. Julia Holbrook, physical education instructor at Forsythe Junior High, resigned Feb. 5. o o Vice President R o b e r t E. Doerr suggested that the 1967 Michigan School Finance Study I compiled by the Michigan De-I partraent of Education, bel referred to the Citizens' Ad-I visory Committee on School Fi-I nance and perhaps to the Cham-I ber of Commerce's financel committee for study and recommendation. Doerr also asked that the trustees study the report, since it might have implications on the coming bonding] and millage elecions. o o Acting Supt. W. Scott West-! erman Jr. asked the board's school-naming committee to provide him with a name for the new elementary school being constructed at the Green-Glacier Way intersection. Westerman announced t h a t Mrs. John Roth and Trustee Francés Felbeck would be accompanying the Ann Arbor High School students to Paris from March 30 to April 7 as the Paren t-Teacher Organization and Board of Education representatives, respectively. The trip is sponsored by AAHS' foreign language department.
