As strikes by operating engi- neers and trowel tradesmen enter their second week in Washtenaw County, Ann Arbor public school officials are attempting to determine whether Hurón High will be ready to open! this fall. No further negotiation 1 sions have been scheduled. Laborers Local 959 is I ing at the union's offices, 3080 I Platt Kd., at 7:30 p.m. today to decide whether to work another week, strike immediately or accept contractors - bunders wage proposals. Nearly 60 per cent of the "striking" trowel tradesmen of .Local 14, are back to work, JoIseph Wojtowicz, business agent for the union, said today. With 36 interim agreements signed with independent contractors, the trowel tra des unión has not yet set a date for talks to resume between contractors - builders committee and trowel trades negotiators. "We're ready to meet anytime, but they're going to have to cali II the meeting," Wojtowicz said.
