School Board Briefs
Mrs. Roger W. (Gladys) Brown was appointed to the Public Library Advisory Council last night. She is a secretary and Assistant Trust Officer at the Ann Arbor Trust Co. In other business, Meivin G. Fiegel of the National Bank and Trust Co. was appointed to fill a vacancy on the Investment Advisory Committee. George H. Cress of the Ann Arbor Trust Co. and Dr. Douglas Hayes, a professor of finance at the University, were reappointed to one-year terms. o o The Board of Education approved two leaves of absence last night. Miss Florence Haas will take a leave of absence for the 1968-69 school year, Mrs. Jane Steeb for the first semester of the coming school year. o o The list of 52 graduates in the local Practical Nurse Program was approved. Graduation exercises will take place next Thursday in the Ann Arbor High School auditorium. o o Final transfers in the 1967-68 budget were approved. o o The trustees adopted a new administrative salary structure as requested by Supt. W. Scott Westerman Jr. in an earlier] executive session. o o Trustee Ted Heusel did notj attend last night's regular i ing, and Vice President Harold J. Lockett was absent from the entire 3'a-hour session.
