School Board Sets Agenda

A ramer routine agenda will Eace the Ann Arbor Board of ; Education at its 7:30 p.m. meeting tomorrow at the school 1 ministrative Offices, 1220 Wells. The scheduled agenda items include : - Ratification of contracts between the Board of Education and the Cafeteria Workers, and also the board and Ann Arbor! Educational Secretarles' Association; - Request for an alteration ïnl attendance requirements f o r II kindergarten students; - Approval of a change inï Saturday library hours; -Approval of an in-service education day for professional ,staff members. The date has been tentatively set for Oct. 8, and will be used for discussions in the area of race relations; - Authorization for propertyl annexation; - Recognition of Miss Dorothy Noyes, who has retired after 40 years of teaching in Ann Arbor, and - Acceptance of several pieces lot automotive equipment from ïhe General Motors Corporation. f A public briefing, session will he held after the regular meeting to discuss a progress report fcn the building program and to iiear the new job description for the pólice officer at Ann Arbor! liigh School.
