The Ann Arbor Educa'ion Association (AAEA) is forming teams at each of the Ann Arbor Public Schools for the purpose of increasing Communications in the area of human relations. The 30 teams - which will be composed of at least one teacher and one administrator - are expected to become a permanent arm of the AAEA Human Relations Committee. The teams are expected to be formed by the end of January, according to Collier Owens, an adviser at Slauson Junior High School. "We believe that in-service training in the human relations area must be an ongoing process," Owens said. The teams will probably become involved in the following áreas : - Calling the attention of their j school staffs to new publications and bibliographies in the human relations field, along with speakers, courses and workshops; - Inviting persons to speak to students and teachers on human relations problems, and planning discussions and dialogues on various human relations subjects: -Helping the principáis ar-ll range for teachers to demónstrate special classroom skills and talents. in the area of i man relations; - Working with the faculty in identifying problems and implementing solutions. Owens said an in-service training period in human relations wil! be scheduled for the new team members as soon as possible.
