Action on a próposal to approve a boundary change between Tappan and Scarlett junior high schools will highlight tomorrow's regular 7:30 p.m. meeting of the Ann Arbor Board of Education, to be held at the School Administrative Offices, 1220 Wells. The boundary change, which would affect about 71 pupils in the Dixboro attendance area, was delayed last week after a petition from a number of Dixboro parents was presented to the trustees. The petition asked that the boundary change not be approved. Other scheduled agenda items include : - Action on a proposal to appropriate funds for a Life Long Learning Program for Ann Arbor senior citizens ; - Offical Acceptance of the Special Citizens' Advisory Committee on Safety, and i - Approval of new textbooks for 1969-70. At the 5:30 p.m, public briefing session.at 1220 Wells, a report on the incidents at Scarlett Junior High the week of May 19 will be presented by Principal Joseph Vachon and Supt. W. Scott Westerman Jr. Also scheduled is a report on the Drug Abuse Seminars, held' in Ann Arbor during the past. two weeks.
