School Workers And Officials Settle On Pact

Tentative agreement on a two year contract was reached Saturday between the Ann Arbor Board of Education and the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employés Local 1182, which represents 183 custodial and maintenance employés. In a joint statement last night by officials of the board and Local 1182, it was reported the parties involved reached agreement. The Board of Education is expected to ratify the agreement at a special meeting to be held at 7:30 p.m. Monday in the Administration Building. Members of the union have ratified the agreement to replace , a contract which expired on Sept. 30.
