Events At Huron Topic For Trustees

Discussion of the past 10 days' events at Huron High School with the Huron Bi-Racial Committee and representatives of the school's Black Student Union will highlight Wednesday's briefing session of the Ann Arbor Board of Education. The session will begin at the conclusión of the regular 7:30 p.m. meeting at Tappan Junior High I School, 2251 E. Stadium. During the regular meeting, the board will be asked to approve a change of hours at King School for the 1969-70 school year. A 5:30 p.m. executive session to discuss negotiations with the University of Michigan and the events at Huron High will be held at the School Administrative Offices, 1220 Wells. The schools are negotiating with the U-M and are asking the University to pay a sum of money for children who attend the public schools and whose parents live in tax-exempt University housing.
