W A new "open campus" policy- which allows students to leave campus in automobiles during the noon hour with parental permission - will go into effect Thursday on a trial basis at Pioneer High School, Principal Theodore R. Rokicki has announced. A similar policy went into effect at Huron High School several months ago. Rokicki says students may piek up the parental permission forms from Assistant Principal Roland Schwab or from the various class principáis. Only students who return the signed forms will be allowed to leave campus at noon in cars parked in the student parking lots on campus. Presently only students who park in a small number of spaces off-campus may leaving during the noon hour. An "open campus" is one of the suggestions for change made last month by students at Pioneer High. i
