A delegation of some 30 parents f rom Northside Elementary School last night urged the Board of Education to "do something about Northside bef ore it's too late and you have to save it." The parents came to support a memorandum -submitted by the Northside faculty on March 16 which asked for a number of additional staff people and for more money for general supplies and art supplies. A Northside father told the board that 24 per cent of Northside's 674 children this year live with only one parent, which means more work for the school, he said. He added that fully one third of , the children there have learning andor social problems. Jesse Hill, president of the Northside I Teacher Oragnization, called the teachers' I quests "minimal," and urged full board support.
