Plans for m improved cooperative purchasing association, possibly among the school districts of Ann Arbor, Jackson, Lansing, Kalamazoo and Battle Creek, were discussed at last night's briefing session of the Ann Arbor Board of Education. Trustee Cecil W. Warner suggested that school superintendant W. Scott Westerman investígate the possibility of the Ann Arbor district entering into a m u 1 1 i-contractual agreement with other school boards of similar size for the purpose of gaining price advantages in purchasing c o m m o n items which are bought in large quantity. Warner said that this proposal would avoid costly warehous-l ing of goods. I
