School Clerical Workers' Pact Is Approved

A nwo-yearontracif with the Ann Arbor Educational Secretaries' Association giving them a 6.3 per cent salary increase in 1970-71 and approximately a 6 per cent hike the next year, plus full hospitalization, was approved last night by the Ann Arbor Board of Ëducation. The contract will provide increases of some $85,000 in salaries and benefits each of the two years. It includes an agency shop provisión, new this year, meaning that all secretarial and clerical workers must join the unión or pay a fee equal to the dues of the association. During 1970-71, most of the secretarles and clerical help will receive pay increases of 25 cents per hour. Those at the top of their classifications will receive hikes of about 35 cents
