Hsfold J.'Niemanf 27, a former Washtenaw County Juvenile Court caseworker, and a former Peace Corps volunteer, has been appointed attendance court liaison agent for the Ann Arbor Public Schools. His appointment was approved last night by the Board of Educaton. Nieman begins his new duties Aug. 27. His salary is $8,140 annually. The attendance court liaison agent is 'a new position. The agent will be the link between the public schools and Juvenile Court, giving the court necessary information on the student and helping the pupil re-adjust to school af ter his detention. Neiman attended St. Clair Community College, and was graduated with a bachelor's degree in sociology from Michigan State University in 1967. He has studied educational psychology at Eastern j igan University.
