Principal Theodore Rokicki three times this morning entered the auditorium where the blacks were gathered to ask them to leave, warning them 1 1 h a t those missing classes I would b e given unexcused absences. At 11:30 a.m. Rokicki read to the students the state "trespass" law and told them that unless they vacated the auditorium by 11:50 p.m. Ann Arbor pólice would make arrests. Parents of the students involved were notified of the incident and were asked to come to the school. The students left the auditorium but were in hallways outside at noon today.
