J. Scott Fleming, pjincipal laf Angell Elementary School ■for the past three years, will ■leave that post to join the staff ■of the University of Michigan ■Alumni Association, effective ■July 1. I Fleming will become direcItor of the School and College I Services Office for the Alumni I Association, replacing Donald IE. Dufek, who is lea ving to I become athletic director at I Grand Valley State College. Born and reared in Illinois, Fleming earned a bachelor 's Idegree in physical education Ifrom the University of Illinois lin 1949, a master's degree in leducation from Syracuse UniIversity in 1951, and a doctorlate in education from the U-M lin 1968. Between 1966 and 1969, he Iserved as an instructor and lassistant professor with the IU-M School of Education, mov[ing in 1969 to the Angell School principalship. "The Alumni Association is delighted to have Scott Fleming as part of its professional I staff," said Robert G. Forman, executive director. "With his academie background, he will perform an outstanding ice in working with our constituent groups on campus and I in dealing with our alumni I union program. We are, of course, sorry to lose the services of Don Dufek but wish him well in his new endeavor," Forman said. Fleming is married and the father of five children ranging in age from seyen to 19. The family lives at 1208 Prospect St.
