During last night's háL Arbor Board of Education meeting there was no comment by trustees during the public session over yesterday's Ann Arbor News story which questioned the academie creáentials of Mildred Bautista, assistant to the superintendent and board secretary. However ,this morning a joint statement was issued by Board President Cecil Warner and School Supt. R. Bruce McPherson concerning Miss Bautista. The statement read as follows: "Questions have been raised by The Ann Arbor News regarding the tions of Miss Mildred Bautista, assistant to the superintendent of the Ann Arbor schools, and the accuracy of the resume submitted to the Board of Education. "Miss Baustista's performance has been outstanding both as assistant to the superintendent' and as secretary to the board. "The board and the superintendent will undertake an orderly process of reviewing the charges and clarifying the facts. "Answers will be sought and found which meet the satisfaction of the board and the superintenden-
