Names Left Off Letter

EditorVThe NewsT' ? rf' The letter to the editor that was printed over my signature in Tuesday's paper praising Supt. Bruce McPherson for his involvement in and improvement of Special Education in the Ann Arbor Schools should have appeared with the names of four additional members of the Special Education Advisory Committes. They are : Jean Crawford, Association for Children with Social and Learning Diffieulties; Patty DeYoung, Michigan Association for Emotionally Disturbed Children; Norman Quackenboss, Washtenaw Association for Retarded Children, and Ruth Zweifler, Adyocacy Program. At a time when so much tangential criticism is being directed at Supt. McPherson, it would be well for the community to look to his achievemsnts and to the educational philosophy to which he is committed. These are the real issues being debated behind the innuendo of the New Morality.
