Schools Boost Legal Budget

Bruce McPherson. i a report to the board, 1 McPherson said the revised cost estímate for legal services for the 1972-73 school year exceeds the budgeted amount of $30,000 by $7,200. The increase was based on ' first q u a r t e r projections which included the suit filed i by parents in the Clinton I and II school attendance area. McPherson said the amount had to be increased also because $6,325 for legal expenses in 1972-73 was carried over and paid from the 1972-73 budget. John B. DeVine, of DeVine and DeVine, attorney for the school district, estimates legal services for the remaining I quarters could run approximately $7,500 per quarter, I suming the district does not I get in volved in litigation 1 ters which flair into extensive 1 time rquirements.
