3 Candidates Are Endorsed

Ttíe Representa ti ve Council of the Ann Ar'bor Education Association has given its "full endorsement" to James W. Anderson Jr., Henry Johnson and Dr. Ronald C. Bishop- three of the! nine candidates for the A mi Arbor Board of Education. AAEA President David Harrell said the endorsements of the 50-mernber council carne after 45-jninute interviews last week with all nine candidates. The AAEA did not endorse any candidate last year, but has done so in past years. Anderson, 31, is assistant manager of the Quarry photo department. He is former chairman of the education committee of the city's Human Relations Commission and former HRC vice chairman. Johnson, 31, is director of group care and counseling at the W. J. Maxey Boys' Training School at Whitmore Lake. Bishop, 48, is chief of medical services at the Veterans Administration Hospital. Only three candidates will be elected.
