The Ann Arbor school board race is jelling with at least seven persons planning to run for three seats on the ninemember board. The election is June 10. Trustees Ralph Bolhouse has announced he will not run for re-election. Bolhouse is the first of the three board members whose terms expire this year to say he definitely will notrun. Trustee Theodore Heusel has said he "probably won't run." Board President Duane 97f . LD Renken said héis undecided. Those who have said they will run are: Wendy Barhydt, 830 Bruce St., assistant in research at the University of Michigan 's Highway Safety Research Institute;Eric Stevens Binder, .4001 Pratt Rd., Scio Township, teacher with the Pontiac public schools; Tanya Israel, 2037 Winsted Blvd.,ahousewife; Manfred Schmidt, 3214 Williamsburg Rd., a part-time landscaper; Willie J. Simpson, 1058 Westaire Way, a social worker and counselor at Washtenaw Community College; Astrid Beek, 1706 Mclntyre Drive, a teaching fellow in Germán at the U-M who has been accepted into a doctoral program at the University in comparative literatura; Peter Wright, 2140 Needham Rd., manager of labor relations for thé General Products División of Ford. Stanley Bielby, 1325 Ardmoor Ave., a senior technician at the Human Performance Center at the U-M, said, "I am fairly certain I will run," but added he os wouldn't make his final I sion until later this week. Those who have considerad I but decided not to run are: I Robert Conn, 3630 Terhune I Rd.; Nancy Burkhalter, 1300 I Red Oak Rd.,; Hugh I son, 313 S. Seventh St,; and I Henry Alting, 4880 Grandview, I Pittsfield Township; and John I E. Williams, 950 Lennox St . Candidate petitions are I available at the school I ministration building, 2555 S. State Rd. Petitions must be returned by May 13 and May 16 is the deadline to withdraw, according to school officials.
