Voters in Chelsea, Dexter, Manchester, Clinton and Pinckney elected village offlcers I during this week's spring election. There were no contests for the offices although a few write-in votes were noted. ín Chelsea, all of the candidates ran on the Independent Party ticket. A total of 114 balI lots was cast. Athel F. Fulks, president, received 102 votes ; Wallace Wood, treasurer, 107 votes; Thomas C. Smith, assessor, 100 votes; Don Wood, 101 votes, Thomas Dmoch, 94 votes and Keith Boylan, 93 votes, trustees. Shirley Schaible, 101 votes, and Ann Belser , 99 I votes, were elected to the library board of trastees. All are incumbents except Don Wood. ín Dexter, 151 persons voted. I All of the candidates were 1 publicans. Clarence F. Maloney, president, got 130 votes; Harry I Peters, clerk, 128; Nancy J. Aiken, treasurer, 126; and Lloyd Muil, assessor, 134. I Elected trastees were Alfred L. Lavalli, 111; Max E. Kenyon, 77; and James D. Smith, 66. Robert Bensinger received 14 write-in votes for trustee. All are incumbents but Smith, Kenyon and Maloney. Smith and Kenyon were write-in candidates. There were 76 votes counted in Manchester. President David Little received 73 votes; Clerk Mary Wheeler, 74 votes; Treasurer Edward Kirk, 73 votes; Assessor Russell Widmayer, 68 votes; and Trustees Elwin Benedict, 74 votes, Theodore Stautz, 70 votes and Herb Mahony, 69 votes. All are incumbents but Stautz. ín Clinton, 182 persons voted. President Floyd Tate got 158 votes; Clerk John Fox, 163 votes; Treasurer Doris Ritter, 162 votes ; Assessor Harold I Gasner, 159 votes; Trustees Dale Sourbeck,133 votes, James Wilson, 128 votes and William Stout, 119 votes. Former trustees J. Richard I Dixon and John Jansen ceived 30 and 8 votes 1 tively for trustee. Irene Karapus, 155 votes and H. H. Farley, 143 votes, were elected to the Clinton Community Center Board. All those elected are Republicans and are incumbents except Sourbeck, Stout and Wilson. All candidates elected in Pinckney are Democrats. There were 116 votes counted. Vincent LaRosa got 106 votes I for president. Clerk Elizabeth 1 Coíone, 111 votes,Trëasurèr"1 Rachel Haines, 114 votes; Assessor Gordon Titus, 107 votes; and Trustees James Amburgey, 103 votes; Leonard Lee, 101 votes and Shirley J. Heath 94 votes. All are incumbents except La Rosa and Mrs Heath.
