Heart Transplant? recipiënt Philip T. Barnum, 49, of Kalamazoo was reported still making "good progress" today in his recovery from Michigan's first operation of its kind last Friday at University Hospital. A medical report released by the hospital at 11 a.m. says the Kalamazoo father of four "is sitting up in bed a good deal of the time and is eating everything given to him on his soft diet. "His recovery has now reached the point where he will be able to listen to radio and watch televisión for entertainment. Since he has been confined to bed for several months, his doctors are cautious about letting him get out of bed at this time." The report also states that his "pulse, blood pressure and other body functions are all normal" and that "he continúes to make a good recovery."
