U-M Street Name Honors Late Regent

The Ontrance street la the University North Campus has been named Bonisteel Boulevard. The street, between Fuller Rd. and North Campus Blvd., has been named in honor of U-M Regent Emeritus Roscoe O. Bonisteel Sr. who died last February, Vice-President Wilbur K. Pierpont reported. ''The executive officers have responded to several suggestions from members of the University community to name the street after Regent Emeritus Bonisteel." A U-M alumnus and prominent Ann Arbor attorney, Bonisteel served oni the University's Board of Regents from 1946 to 1959.
