Ai you Uve ín soútñeásf Afaf Arbor I 'fiorth of I-94, Dial-A-Ride (DAR) will be I in full effect in your neighborhood Monday To book rides, Ann Arbor Transportation Authority (AATA) asks that southI east área residents cali their own Dialj A-Ride number, 973-1611. Doorstep-todoorstep service is available if trip destiI nations are within áreas of the city alI ready served by daytime DAR. For rides I outside daytime DAR zones, free transfI ers will be arranged to complete the I trips. The Packard line bus will be unI changed by the new service, according to I AATA officials. However, the Washtenaw line will be express only, with no local stops, between Arborland Shopping CenI ter and Medford and Manchester Roads. I Local stop service will still be available both inbound and outbound from Medford and Manchester to the hospitals and I downtown. I DAR cost is 25 cents per ride. For more information, AATA's information I telephone number is 665-7701. The latest DAR extensión marks the fourth of six phase-in plans for citywide daytime DAR. Additional áreas will be served beginning June 30 and July 14. I Daytime DAR hours are 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Evening and weekend DAR service is available citywide.
