Albert J. Coudron To Head United Fund

Albert J. Coudron, owner of Community Drug Pharmacy, has been elected president of the Ann Arbor Area United Fund for 1971. He succeeds Chris L. McKenney. A for m er member for six years and past president of the Ann Arbor Board of Education, he is presently serving on the board and executive committee of the Washtenaw County Intermedíate School District. He s a former member of the board of directors of the State School Board Association and a regional representative to the national Exploratory Committee on Assessing Education Progress in 1965. Coudron joined the United Fund in 1967 as chairman of the Planning Committee and -.vas named a board member in 1969. He served as vice president of the UF board this year. Currently president of the board of directors of the Summit Street Medical Clinic, he is a past president of the Huron Valley Child Guidance Clinic, and a past vice president of the Junior Chamber of Commerce. He was on the steering committee for the Office of Economie Opportunity and chaired the Get Out the Vote drive for I Washtenaw Community College. The UF president-elect received his BS degree in pharmacy from Ferris State College and his BS in chemistry from Michigan State University. He and his wife Margaret and their three children live at 6530 Munger Rd.
