Marnyn Thayer of Ann Afbor ty& re" elected to another one-year term as chairwoman of the county Planning Commission. Jay Bradbury was re-elected vice chairman of the 11-member commission, and David Little was elected to his first term as secretary. The electioñs were held at the commission's annual meeting. Kingsbury Marzolf, professor of architecture and urban planning at the U-M, made a presentation on historie preservation. Comparing European and American cities with slides, his presentation also highlighted historie examples in Ann Arbor, Ypsilanti and rural áreas of the county. Thayer, who has headed the commission since 1974, is also chairwoman of the Ann Arbor-Ypsilanti Urban Area Transportation Study Committee, which formulates multi-faceted transportation plans for the urbanized area of the county. She is also vice chairwoman of the Southeastern Michigan Transportation Authority board where she is the county's delégate to the (seven-county regional authority. Bradbury, of Lima Township, is a longtime member of the county Board of Commissioners, of which he is vice chairman. Little is from Manchester, where he serves as village president. Members of the planning commission are appointed by the Board of Commissioners. - ■
