Ardis To Head Trustees
Evart W. Ardis, director of the Bureau of Appointments at the University, was elected chairman of the Washtenaw Community College Board of Trustees last night. A charter member, he succeeds Ralph C. Wenrich, another charter member, who served two years as chairman. Wenrich, Univérsity professor of vocational education, was elected vice chairman. Ardis had been Wenrich's vice chairman. The new secretary of the board is Anthony J. Procassini, director of industrial relations for the Bendix Aerospace Systems División. He was elected to his second term in November and bas completed two years on the board. Procassini succeeds Richard C. Creal, a charter member of the board and its first secretary, who continúes as a trustee. Continuing as treasurer is Edward Adams Jr., chairman of the board of the National Bank and Trust Co. of Ann Arbor, another charter member of the college board. Pursuant to a new state law, the board set its meeting dates for the calendar year as Feb. 25, March 25, April 22, May 27, June 24, July 15, Aug. 26, Sept. 23, Oct. 28, Nov. 25, and Dec. 16. All meetings are to be held at 7:30 p.m. at the college's Administrative Center, 1150 Midway, Ypsüanti Township.
