Would We Had More Such Factories

The Michigan furniture company during the past year paid out S20,000 to its employees. This money staid in the city. lt was spent here. It passed from hand to hand and represented many times $20,000 in debts paid, comforts and necessities purchased. It would be greatly to the advantage of Ann Arbor to have move such factories here.

At the election of directors held Tuesday evening, W. D. Harrima, L. Gruner, Moses Seabolt, Charles E. Hiscock, Eugene Beal, A. W. Hamilton and Paul Snauble were elected directors. At a meeting or the directors, Judge Harriman was selected president, L. Gruner vice-president, Charles E. Hiscock secretary and treasurer, and Paul Snauble, manager and director, The past year has been an exceedingly prosperous one for the company. The best in its history and a dividend of eight per cent was declared on the capital stock.
