The Osborne Assignment
The assignment of Henry Osborne to John J. Robison was filed in the county clerk's office Monday together with the inventory of the assets and claims of creditors and the bond of Mr. Robison. The assets are inventoried at $11,181.57 of which the personal property including wheat, farm implements, etc, amounted to $1581.55 and the book accounts to $550.02. The flouring mill and water power is estimated at $7,000, and a farm of 51 acres valued at $2,000. The estimated amount due creditors is $9,965.60. The creditors to whom amounts over $30 are due are Ypsilanti Machine Works $749, J. M. Wagner $1,433, V. P. Brown $500, Rosa Long $365, G. Bruklarker $117.23, S. Wood & Co. $66.18, Wines & Worden $86.91, H. B. Dodsley $67.62, Charles Rost $300 secured by mortgage, the Ann Arbor Savings Bank, $3,000, and James Osborne $3,100. Flying rumors of other assignments have been afloat but they were without foundation.
