The ice harvest is beginning this week. Mr. L. Koebbe started sawing lumber last week. Miss Hauk and Miss Hartbeck, of Detroit, have been visiting friends here for the past few weeks. Lewis and Henry Vogel celebrated their fourteenth birthday last week. Suitable entertainment was furnished. [Krom another Conespondent.] Freedom. Miss Lydia Gross is on the sick list this week. Surprise parties are all the now, evenings. Peter Neis has returned from Traverse City. B. F. Guiñan, of Brooklyn, was ïere over Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Keobbe, of öanchester, spent Sunday here. Mr. and Mrs. George Wooster, of Manchester were the guests of Peter Meis and family Sunday. A party of sleighrider's went over to Lima Monday night and ook Mr. and Mrs. Fred Pfitzenmair wholly by surprise but all had jolly time just the same.
