Miss Ida Bradley slipped and fractured her ankle bone badly.

S. Southwick has broken his arm. Another accident during the icy time.

There will be a masque I. O. G. T. social, Friday evening, at M. M. Dillon's.

The Maccabees are painting and papering and renovating their hall generally.

Clara Niedham is visiting friends at Greenville, Lansing and Jackson this week.

The firm of F. E. Holcomb & Co. is succeeded by Culver & Son, general store.

The Creamery Co. and the farmers generally are busy cutting and packing ice.

Milo Clark and wife attended the annual meeting of the Saline and York Farmers Club.

George Olds went to Grand Rapids to take charge of some fine fowls at the poultry show there last week.

TheYork post-office was designated a postal note office and commenced operations January 16 and sold $10.35 the first day.

There was a great turn out and an old fashioned good time, last week, at the social of the Baptist society at G. D. Forsyth's. It is good for old folks to see the youngsters so thoroughly enjoying themselves.
