Dr. Otis E. Haven, one of Evaiiston'a most popular physicians, died Wednesday ot typhoid ulularía. The deceased gruduated t A.nn Arbor, aud shortly after was appointed principal of the Evanston public schools. He was well liked in that capacity, but resigned to practico bis profession. Mr. Haven was a prominent oiember of the village Board of Education, and was conapicuOU8 in Masonry. He was the elttest eon of Bishop O. E. Haven, formerly presideut of the Michiguu Btate University, and later president of Northwestern University - Chicago Herald. Dr. Haven married a daughter of &. ,1. Sutlieiland of this city.
