A Milwaukee electrician, backed by a syndicate of capitalists, has just perfected and put in the market .1 wonderful invention which promises to beeome general. Each room of a residonce, school or other jiublic bni'ding is equipped with a thermometer so made that it can be set at any desired temprature, and 1y meang of electricity and compreesed air, the stoam radiator or register of the rooms will be closed the nioment the temperaturereaches the point and npened aijain the minute the tliermonieier fiills une degree below, time preventing over-beating in mild weather and saving fue! lo a great degree. 'l'his im ention can also be applied to brewerie6. cold rooms, lumber kilns, and is being adopted by tlie railroads in sleeping cars and passenger coaches. The system i rapidlv being put in fine private residences, bcIiooIb, cbnrchcp, all oyer the country. Oflice buildings are being equipped with it, and the seperate offices regulated at so much per year, a nominal cost. Companies have been formed in various cities to handle these inventions. The State of Michigan is controlled by the Michigan Electric Service ('o., 53 (iriswold Street. Detroit. They propoae to have agencies in all the larger cities of the State. Some of the private residenefs in Detroit are alrendv jquipped with it. and in other places this wondírfíil, Kealtiisaving, economical invention is being ia'idly adoptud.
