Philadelphia, Pa., Fab. 7.- The general executive board of the Knights of Labor contiuued their sessions at the headquartera, 8i4 North Broad street, tbroughout 'luásday. No word had been received from Master Workman Powderly up to a late hour as to when bis attscdance upon the deliberations of the board might be expected. Ira B. Aylesworth is still absent also, tbough he is looked for conñdently. The business transacted Tuesday was of a routine nature, a large number of Communications from varibus district assemblies being cousidered. These referred entirely to the secret work of the organizition, and wers not of a character to begiven out for publica tion. The indorsement of the strike by the general board received a considerable umouul of informal discussion among the memoers. As to whether a member of the board would b placed in charge ot' the matter iu any otlier than an advisery manner, in which relation ho would oniy confer with the local leaders, who would reinain in charge, it was stated ie as at pressnt impossible to say. The final steps had not as yet been taken, as furtheiconsidera tion was necessary bjfore taking so important a step.
