William Stanfield is afflicted with several cancers. Geo. Fuller has had several sheep ulied by dogs. Miss Katie Farrel returned to her lome in Sandusky, Ohio, last Saturday. Samuel West has rented his farm and will move to Stockbridge in the pring. Carelessness in using a saw cost Milton Watson the end of his humb. Mr. Fred Snyder has rented o his farm, and intends to lócate in Stockbridge. Little Bros. lost two steers by Irowning. Cause to much ice around the watering place. A good many farmers who have jeen drawing timber to Gregory are issatisfied with the scale of theirogs. The social at Samuel Bovces was well attended, and a financial success. 'he next social will be held at Ê. Vessel's two weeks from last Thursay. The Baptist church in Lyndon, is ompleted and will be dedicated one week (rom next Sunday, March 4th, Rev. T. Robinson, of Ohelsea, jreaches the dedication serman. A peculiar accident happened to a íorse owned by P. W. Watts, while ieing taken to water. Between bis arn and watering place is quite a eep hill. In going down this hill the horse feil and slid part way down, bringing up between two trees, wedging himself so tightly that one tree had to be cut before he could be released.
