Most of the divorce cases now being commenced in the circuit court seem to come f rom Ypsilanti. The marriage returnsrecently have not exceeded them in nuinber, all of which does not speak in the most glowing terms of matrimonial felicity iti that part of the countv, although it is an undoubted fact that there are many happy homes there. Airs. Evaline Doyle, of Ypsilanti towníhip, has commenced suit for a dirorce from her husband John Doyle. She charges that her husband has not furnished her an adequate maintenance or home and that he was addieted to the excessive use of liqnor. She claims that her father has aided her by presents amounting to 5900 and that she has for the Dast two years resided at bome with her father, Doyle making nis headquarters there. She says that she mortg-iged a house she owned in Belleville to assist her husband in business and lost the house on the mortgage. ïhey were married on Jauuarv 16, 1869 and have two children, a baughter of 18 and a bou of 13. Mrs. Doyle asked for the guaidianship of her son and a temporary injunctiou has been issued restraining the father with interfering with her guardianship until further order of the court.
