High School Doings
The seniors met Tuesday and elecled tlie following elass day officers: Orator Austin C. Gormley; historian, David McMorran, prophetess, Nellie Cutler; poetess, Matilda A. Neumann; essayist; Hattie Ilavilund; songstress, Agnes Leas; toastmaster, Cari W. Hertel. Several students of the high school joined the University prohlbition club at its meeting Tuesday evening. ïhos. Chalmers was chosen yice-president for the iiigh school to succeed Galen G Crozier. The board of edito.rs held a meeting yesterday to makepreliminary arrangeïnents for the publication of the Omega. The editors have wisely made an early start on their work, and intend Lo spare no pains to make the Omega of '88 equal if not superior to any of its predecessors. Lyceum No. 1, is to decide to-night whelher the territorios of Dakota, Montana, Washington and Wyoming should be admitteil into the Union. The president of the senior cbiss has appointed the following committee on decorations for the junior exhibition: Lizzie M. liailey, Gertrude Bundy, Kate Cramer. Vireima Lavv, Agnes Leas, Hattie Nichols, Cari Warden, Al. D. Uilrir Wm Rlir liml Onflor P. W. Hertel, and David McMofran. Another commiltee consisting of Donald D. Douglas, Matilda A. Neumann and Virginia Law, was also appointed to see the citv photograpliers in reference to class pictüres. Prof. L. J).
