"Washington City, March 20. - James Matthews and John Callaban, fonner employés of Squires & Co., pork packers of Boston, appeared before the house comniittee on agriculture Monday morning umi testified that Squires & Co. made two qualities of lard - one'pure, the other a compound of all kinds of hog grease. Afñdavits were read showing that petroleum tanks were thoroughly cleaned before boing used for cotton seed oil.
